Mentor – The role of a Mentor is a very special one in the life of a YCS child. By spending quality time, one on one, with a child in one of our residences, you can help him or her discover regain the ability to trust others and to believe in themselves and their future.
Organize An In-Kind Drive/Back to School Drive – In late summer, children throughout New Jersey turn in their beach towels and swim fins for markers, binders and books. Their parents head off to the local store to make sure their child is prepared. Unfortunately, the families of many of the children in our residences and schools do not have the financial resources to help the children get ready for that first day. By participating in this drive, you are guaranteeing that every student will be prepared to start school.
Be a Secret Santa – Calling all Secret Santa’s! While the holidays are a joyous and happy time for so many of us, they can be extremely difficult for children who are separated from their families. Once again, we need you, your colleagues, and your friends and relatives to help us make the season brighter for the children in our care.

Holiday and Special Appeals – Direct your gift to help make the dream of summer camp, give a holiday present to a special YCS child or help a YCS child experience a once in a lifetime event.
