YCS Institute and Clinic

At this critical time when families are sheltering in place, parents or caregivers may be experiencing additional sadness, stress and anxiety as they try to balance the needs of their children with the physical hardships and emotional and psychological worries of this new everyday way of life.

Our specially trained therapists at the YCS Institute for Infant and Preschool Mental Health and Dr. Helen May Strauss (HMS) clinics are here to help.

We are now offering individual, family, and group telehealth (video-based) therapy services for caregivers and their children. If you are pregnant and overwhelmed by worry, a new parent, or the caregiver of a child or teenager who is having difficulty adjusting to this new normal, please reach out to our therapists.

The Institute and HMS clinics are ready to answer your calls and personally answer all your questions about telehealth therapy services. Services available in English and Spanish. We currently accept Medicaid and sliding scale payments.

YCS will be offering Comprehensive Autism Screening, Assessstments and DIRFloortime Therapy for children up to the age of 21, once we can meet in our offices. Please call to discuss securing an appointment. (Click on Institute link at the top of the page for details.)
